Ryan
Ryan Ireland, PhD, is the author of two novels, Beyond the Horizon and Ghosts of the Desert. In 2018, he was a finalist for the VanderMey Nonfiction Prize, the Barry Lopez Nonfiction Prize, and the winner of the Tom Howard / John H. Reid Essay award. In late 2019 he was a writer-in-residence for the Jan Michalski Foundation, located in Switzerland, where he finished his third novel.
Miracle
Miracle Ireland has degrees in literature, creative writing, and classics. She worked in libraries for 8 years specializing in public programs and community outreach. Her natural sense of curiosity makes her the perfect interviewer. Getting people to talk is her strong suit. As the past steward of such automobiles as a 1979 International Scout Harvester, a 1971 Monte Carlo, and a barely-functional Buick Skylark, Miracle is no stranger to cars. A lover of all art, Miracle is drawn mostly to photography. Most of the pictures appearing on our website and Instagram are taken by Miracle, who is also takes one-of-a-kind Polaroids.
Jolene
Jolene Ireland is an avid sleeper who loves mealtimes and tolerates long ass hikes with her humans. She was rescued in September 2020 and goes everywhere her humans go.
