Waterfalls, Little Towns, & Public Libraries

One post about the Finger Lakes simply won’t do the region justice. Waterfalls abound. After spending a day walking around the charming (and somewhat congested) town of Ithaca, we stopped at Treman State Park to at least see what their famous waterfall-fed swimming hole looks like. The answer: spectacular. On the way back to Watkins Glen, I saw a sign that simply read, “Falls” with a camera icon. Hitting the turn signal, downshifting, and throwing the wheel all in one motion, we veered into the hamlet of Montour. And the falls were indeed photo-worthy as was most of this quaint little town.
